Beach, Tropical Clip Art Kit Preview, Coming Friday. By Audrey Jeanne Roberts

Getting back to work after relaxing too thoroughly is a challenge!  But the fun part is that I have these previews ready to show you of Tropical Breeze 2 which is coming out this Friday!

Beach, tropical clip art previewThere are several text art frames that can be used for journaling, making a greeting card out of, a candy wrapper or?  The possibilities are endless!

There are a bunch of palm trees that have been isolated out of the paintings so that you can place them anywhere that works for you.

Also there is quite a bit of summery tropical bright papers and goodies that will work for a lot more than purely beach or tropical themes.

I’ve created a purely clouds paper that can be very useful as well as a purely beach/ocean paper.

Tropical bright papers and clip art

There is so much in this set that I’ll have to take a couple of days to show you all of it!  Plus I also have my Summer Fun 1 set coming out this week too.  The rest of this week will have to be full of sneak peeks!

Remember, my blog contest ends on the 30th with the winner being announced the 1st of July.  Just leave a comment on any of this month’s posts and you are eligible to win.  The prize will be your choice of one of the two sets of Tropical Breeze Premade scrapbook pages.

Calla Lily clip art preview

These striking Red and Yellow Calla lillies grew in my garden but are a tropical flower that could be used in many ways.  The border at the top is a thatched woven pattern with a texturized edge.

I hope your summer is starting out with a bang!  Have a great one!

THE PROVERB FOR THE DAY: Proverbs 26:1-3  "Clear my name, God; I’ve kept an honest shop.  I’ve thrown in my lot with you, God and I’m not budging.  Examine me, God, from head to foot, order your battery of tests.  Make sure I’m fit inisde and out so I never lose sight of your love, but keep in step with you, never missing a beat."  The Message

More Summer Clip Art Coming Soon! First peek today, by Audrey Jeanne Roberts

I spent most of my day yesterday writing on my new book, which will be out in time for next year’s Mother’s Day.  I love writing (as those of you who read the insane volume of words I seem to produce here on a routine basis know!) but disciplined writing with a complete plan and step-by-step process just totally drains me.  My office is in the center of the house when Jacqui is home for the summer, so I can get a little cranky with the rest of my housemates !   The slightest noise disturbs me, so Jacqui loaned me her Ipod loaded with her Christian Contemporary music, great headphones and I was in my own world rocking out!

Preview of Summer Fun Clip Art KitSo, once I’d wrung every last little bit of writing energy out of myself, I turned to finishing up a new kit that I’ll be debutting soon.  It is "Summer Fun 1" and has a more poolside orientation than my Tropical Breeze collections though they will work wonderfully together.

There are a bunch of really fun borders, pool toys, chairs, umbrellas, flip flops that are separate and plain so you can decorate them.  I’ve shown them with their "flower" top.

Well, back to the word processing for now, hope you enjoy the peek!

Beach, Tropical Clip Art Paper Pack and Perfectly Peachy Paper Pack Previews by Audrey Jeanne Roberts

(UPDATE:  This product is now available in the DAISIE COMPANY STORE.  Just click on the picture and a window will pop up to take you to the product)

I absolutely LOVE this tropical paper pack, I am thinking of about a hundred design uses I want to explore with it.  The warm, vibrant pinks, oranges and greens would work well with the teen and younger set and my twenty-something daughters love it too.

Tropical Clip Art Paper Pack Preview, green, orange, pinks.

There are fourteen backgrounds in the pack, all of which coordinate very well together.  There will be at least two more paper packs for this set, one will be in natural tans and sandy tones and another in blues and purples.

Perfectly Peachy Paper Pack has some very fun papers that could be used for wedding, anniversary, little girls, and everyday scrapping or craft uses.

Perfectly Peach Paper Pack PreviewThere are embroiderec dot swirls, scattered rose paterns, a tone on tone scatter rose pattern, distressed and aged patterns as well as some contemporary sketched swirl patterns.  A perfect mix of traditional roses made new with a contemporary flair.  I can’t wait to see what you will do with them!

These paper packs will be available on Friday in the DAISIE COMPANY store.

THE PROVERB FOR THE DAY, PROVERBS 12:14-16 (from The Message)  "Well-spoken words bring satisfaction; well-done work has its own reward.  Fools are headstrong and do what they like, wise people take advice.  Fools have short fuses and explode all too quickly., the prudent quietly shrug off insults."

Summer Clip Art From the Tropics! Beaches, Palm Trees, Beach Chairs… Makes me Want to Play!!! by Audrey Jeanne Roberts

(UPDATE:  This product is now available in THE DAISIE COMPANY STORE.  Just click on either picture and it will take you to the product.)  Okay, today is sneak, sneak peek day!  Here’s one of my sets that will be in the store on Friday, the other is "Perfectly Peachy 2."

Tropical Breeze 1 clip art kit, beaches, palm trees, beach chairs and more

This art isn’t just for scrapbooking tropical vacations or cruises!  It is extremely versatile and can be used for any summer craft purpose.  There are beach chairs, beach umbrellas, palm trees, water-inspired backgrounds, and so much more that could be used to create party invitations, greeting cards, party table decorations… you supply the imagination and I have supplied the art that can bring it to life!

My daughters’ bathroom is in a tropical feel and I’m going to surprise her by creating some iron on patches that I’ll stitch to her guest towels, perhaps with a "Welcome" sign in tiki lettering.  I’m going to have some fun playing with this, with my girls in mind (shhhh… don’t tell them!)  I’m probably safe, I can’t get my kids to read "Mom’s blog" very often anyway!

There are seven assorted backgrounds in this kit and I have created a ton more of them that will be released as coordinating paper packs.  The tiki lettering kit isn’t finished yet, but will be out soon to allow you to write any message you want in bamboo, large sized letters.  In addition, there will be a pre-assembled title page that will be geared towards vacations and cruises.

bamboo, frames, tropical beach clip art previews

My daughters are especially loving these kits (they’re 20 somethings!) and having been born and raised in San Diego, love anything related to the beach!

I’ve created some quick page duos that will be coming out next week and I’ll preview them in the next day or so.  Even if you don’t buy the quick pages, they can be very helpful to show you how you might combine some of the elements in your own projects and I never mind you "borrowing" some inspiration!  Have fun, summer is only 9 days away!!!!

Free Baby Clip Art Gift By Audrey Jeanne Roberts

My new Baby clip art kit that became available today is shown in the post below this one.  This Freebie tag was created to go with it and is a thank you gift to those of you that had purchased "Baby Love 1" when it contained 3 or 4 pieces of art that had some minor flaws in them.  I apologize that you had to wait for the download.  The rest of you get to piggyback on their misfortune and enjoy a free gift from me.

free clip art baby scrapbooking tagTo download your free clip art, simply click on the image and a new window will pop up and take you to the download.  The freebie is subject to the DAISIE COMPANY ANGEL POLICY, also known as the terms of use.

I hope you’ll enjoy it and put it to good use!  By the way (before the questions start coming!) yes… the paper used in the background of this tag will be coming out (in 3 color versions!).  When?  Soon is all I can say.  I have another paper pack that I need to get to Stacey, so keep watching !

Next Week’s Baby Clip Art Release, “Baby Love Tags” by Audrey Jeanne Roberts

There are a couple new things for this week, "Baby Love Tags ‘n Banners" and "Baby Love Card Kit"baby clip art tags scrapbook scrapbooking scrapping card making turtle heart star flower

This tags & banners kit is of course, great to use for scrapbooking to add journaling spots and to label your pictures, but it also works great for creative card making!  Each element is offered in several color ways so that it works for boy, girl or either/or.

The Baby Love Card Kit has 7 cards and one envelope in it!  There are two Jungle themed baby onesie cards and 5 different colored plain baby onesies that you can add Baby Love art to or other baby art that you might already own.

There is a template that allows you to create your own interior for your cards, invitations, or announcements.  All you do to assemble the card is cut out the outside, cut out the inside, glue together and you’re finished!

baby card making kit announcement invitation baby showerThere is still a second paper pack to come and I am having so much fun with this art that I just keep creating new goodies so stay tuned for Baby Love 3 one of these days!

I hope you enjoy working with this art as much as I have enjoyed creating it for you!

Remember, each month I have a blog contest and pick from among the commentors to give them a free art kit.  This month’s kit will be the Baby Love Card Kit (or a substitute if the winner has already purchased it!)   Permalink: http://www.daisiecompany.com/blogs/audreyjeanne/?p=130

Audrey Jeanne’s Baby Digital Clip Art Releasing Friday, Sneak Peeks!

sneak previews for Friday

Here's the sneak previews of what's coming this week.  Each kit is now available (as of June 1, 2007) and if you click on the picture it is a link that will take you to the Daisie Store for the rest of the photos and purchase information.  First, there is the second "Baby Love" art kit.  This kit has a lot of classic baby elements such as the bassinet with canopy, christening dress, onesies, bottles, pacifiers and a ton more!

There is a Text piece made from an Audrey Jeanne Roberts' original verse that is included.  You could use that piece as the front cover of a baby annoucement or a shower invitation.

There are "cross stitched" borders and "embroidered" borders, and dancing star borders.

There are also 6 different sizes and colors of heart-shaped buttons that you can use individually or line up for a border.  The same is true with the different color diaper pins.

Try using a diaper pin to "pin" a photo frame in place on your paper.  To do that all you have to do is erase the part of the pin that is "under" the paper, it's that easy!

scrap page duosThen there are also two Quick Page Duo sets that are designed for boy or girl babies.  If you are using my quick pages you can mix the baby boy/girl with the either/or sets to make a scrapbook, grandma's brag book, a mini-scrapbook or a lot of other uses.

Here's an idea: Use the Sweet Dreams page for a birth announcement by putting the baby's picture in the larger left side opening, add all the birth information into the right side opening and the baby's name on the star tag.  Reduce it to 5" or 6" square and print as a front cover glued onto a cardstock card. or make a post card (check with the post office for maximum post card sizes)and mail or create your own envelope to match using the art kits.  Have fun and "get out of the box!"

Quick page duo 2The second Quick Page Duo set is shown here.  It features my "hand stitched" stuffed animals, rick rack borders, polka dots & plaids in peachy tones accented with greens, lavendar and other warm pastels.

Each is sized for a 12" scrapbook, but all you have to do is change the printer setting "print to size" to 8" or 6" if you want to create a smaller album.  If your printer won't print to 12" wide, consider layering this on top of a piece of preprinted commercial scrapbook paper that color coordinates, or if you buy the matching paper/backgrounds art kit to match, you can print out 8 1/2" x 14" (legal size) background and piece together a background that is 12" x 12".

Print two coordinating pieces and place a ruler or jagged edge chipboard piece on top of one of the papers, tearing upward which will leave a white edge showing.  Tape that piece on top of the second pattern and then cut to 12" square.  You can remove the blank 12" piece of paper that comes in your scrapbook as a pattern to draw your edge lines if you don't have a cutter that is large enough to handle it.

Scrapbooking is sooooo much fun!  If you haven't started yet, I'm going to nag you until you do Blush!  If you're a mom, when you scrap one of your children's pages, print copies for the rest of your children's books as well, that way they get pictures of their siblings when they were little too (and they'll think you're an amazing mom as well!)  If you're an Auntie or Grandmother, when you make a page, copy it for each grandchild or niece/nephew and save them up until Christmas… what an inexpensive but special gift to give them that will last for a lifetime!  Permalink http://www.daisiecompany.com/blogs/audreyjeanne/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=135

Brand New Baby Clip Art & Premade Scrapbook Pages Coming Soon!

Lora politely asked me if I had a preview ready to show you all yesterday… yesterday I didn't yet, but today I do!  I've been feverishly working on assembling a new baby/toddler art collection to expand my offerings at the DAISIE COMPANY.  There will be two clip art kits that will both be mixed with boy/girl/either art in each.  There will be a Paper pack (or 2), an alphabet (or 2) and there will be a tags n text kit as well.

Little boy clip art samples

In addition, I have already created Scrapbook Quick Page duos for a boy, a girl and two sets that go either or.  They are made out of the wonderful warm and vibrant pastels colors that are popular with today's young parents.

There are nearly 50 pieces in each kit already, with a wide variety of color options on the various elements such as rick rack trim, scalloped frames, buttons, bows, embroidered lace and cross stitch trims.

The text kit wll have the titles that you see shown in the scrapbook pages, which were hand lettered and hand watercolored by me.  There's also two poems illustrated and included, one an original Audrey Jeanne Verse and the other from the favorite children's song "Jesus, Loves Me" (layout also included without text on this one).

If you are like most moms and did a lot of baby book work on child #1 and almost nothing on child 2, 3 or 4, the instant scrapbook pages can go a long way to help you catch up on that task!  Add some journaling, details of weight, length and birth information and you will have an instant heirloom for your children.

Use some of the precreated pages and then create your own to match by printing and assembling your scrapbook pages in a hybrid fashion (part digital, part layered with embellishments) and you'll have your family believing you spent an amazing amount of time, energy and money when it will cost you little of each.

Little girl clip art

The font I've used with this collection in hand lettering is also going to be available as a true type font as soon as I can get it prepared.

I hope you'll enjoy using this art to create greeting cards, birth announcements, and all sorts of other baby oriented gifts!

Please tell me anything that you think I've missed on these kits or would like to see.  You guys have great ideas and I very much enjoy hearing from you!

Also, we're half way through the month and the blog contest continues.  Remember, you're entered automatically when you leave a comment and you earn extra entries when you refer my blog to your friends and family and tell me so.

The winner will receive my "Perfectly Peachy 2" kit, which will be releasing as soon as I can get it finished, but the winner may receive it before it makes it out to the store!

Have a great Spring day!

Mother’s Day Clip Art Kit “Perfectly Peachy” Coming Friday

I've been trying to get this posted all day long.  It has been one of "those" days (hint, it's 9:31 PM and I'm still sitting at my computer Surprised)  So here's the previews for the second kit that will be out on Friday at THE DAISIE COMPANY.

 Mother's day kit preview

This kit is a text add on that has Mother and Grandmother sayings appropriate for many uses for Mother's Day, but it also has blank versions of everything so that you can create anything you want, in any language that you want.

Many of the quotations are original Audrey Jeanne Roberts' verses not available anywhere else for this format.  There are really fun "ornament-style" tags with gold trim that would be great layered onto a card, hanging from a package (each is two-sided so you could put them back to back for a two-sided ornament).

Mother's Day kit preview 2There are also Titles with gold hand lettered italic calligraphy by Audrey Jeanne, each is available in purely gold lettering and gold lettering with a torn paper backing surrounding it.  They are available in five versions Nana, Grandmum, Grandmother, Mother and Mum.

I hope you'll enjoy making a very special Mother's Day for your very special Mothers and Grandmothers!

Perfectly Peachy 1 Digital Clip Art Kit Previews

I wanted to give you a sneak, sneak peek.  It will be out Friday, and contains 43 pieces.  Lots of papers, frames, embellishments, art pieces and text pieces.

Preview of kit

As soon as I post this, I'll start to work on previews for the add on kit that will have Mother & Grandmother text pieces in it.  These of course will be wonderful for Mother's Day, but will also work for all year around for birthdays etc.  Each piece that is included will also be blank for your own text so it will be applicable for all occasions and those of you that are around the world and use many different languages.

Kit preview

This is one of the kits that I will be turning into a "Wedding in a Box," the other kit that will be done is the Blue Hydrangeas.  I have been working on them, but it is a very time-consuming process for the first kit(s) as I have to create the initial templates and envelope templates.  If only I could eliminate eating, sleeping and other necessary bodily functions!

New Instant Scrapbook Pages Coming Next Week!

Some of you are quite creative with your graphic layouts and scrapbooking pages and others would like to be but don't have either the time or expertise to accomplish the task.

New products

My layouts have been precreated for you.  All you have to do is find the photographs you would like to scrap and figure out what you want to say on the pages and they're done!

Even better… when you digitally scrap, you can print the pages out for Mom, Grandma, the Mother of the Bride or your sister as easily as pushing the print button again.  If you create scrapbook pages during the year, you can assemble a beautiful album at Christmas time as a very special gift that will be remembered long after most gifts.

product preview

There are two kits being added to the Blue Hydrangeas series, both are shown here.  If you have the art kits Blue Hydrangeas 1 and Blue Hydrangeas 2, you can create these pages yourself.  Feel free to look at how I did them and duplicate the layouts, but if saving time is more important to you, they're very reasonably priced at $2.98 for the two page set and $3.98 for the 3 page set.

The pages in the trio can be flipped from left to right (horizontally) to create several two page layouts as all three pages go together.

The last page shown here has a transparent opening metallic tag that you can place your text under to show through as though there were clear glass.  There are also some beautiful jeweled accents to set off the ribbons and stitching.

product preview

I hope you'll enjoy creating a beautiful album out of these pages or using them as an idea of how to use your Blue Hydrangeas art kits to create your own special gifts!  The gift of memories to scrapped to treasure for a lifetime and beyond is a priceless gift!

The Rest of The Blue Hydangeas Gift Bag & Tag Set

Okay, I'm pretty much done designing this kit, now to get it ready (the much less fun part of the job!) to send to Stacey.  It will still be a while because I have to create the instructions and create both bags in 3 sizes: Tabloid paper (11 x 17 or larger), Legal paper (8.5 x 14) & Letter Paper (8.5 x 11).

Kit previewThe photography can't show it very well, but the paper flower shown to the right is made from three layers and is very dimensional with or without the butterfly in the center.  In some uses I've highlighted the center with a jewel and in others the butterfly.

There are quite a few parts included that you may put together with your own embellishments and imagination to create gift tags and gift cards to match.

preview

The cream and tan bag would work very well for a Wedding gift.  I've added an irridescent white ribbon to the front and back and blue jewels and the large sheer wired ribbon closing the top of the bag for a touch of elegance

If I've left anything off, please leave me comments with suggestions for improving the kit!  Once I've finished creating all of the templates, I'll be able to design quite a few more sets in the months to come.

A reminder… The April Blog referral contest is still on going.  See the post with full information down below a ways (or click on the categories "Contests" to go right to it).  There are only a small number of people that have entered so far this month, so the chances to win the Blue Hydrangea Alphabet kit are pretty good!

Full-size Gift Bag Digital Clip Art Kit Coming Soon

There are quite a few of you that have printers capable of printing on 11 x 17 or even larger paper, but until now there haven't been any kits that I know of (at DAISIE Company) that make use of your capability.  But guess what?  That's about to change!

Lg gift bag preview

This bag is 13" high and almost 8" wide across the front.  It's a normal full to large sized bag like you would purchase at the store for $3.50 to $4.00 and now you'll be able to produce one at home yourself.

I finished with the template design and designing the actual art layout and have to do the instructions as they're a little bit complicated but not too hard.  I took photos at each step so that you'll have them written and visual.  Personally I do best with visual cues.

For those of you without large format printers, I will include the bag created to print out on 8.5" x 11" paper as well.

My large sized sample was printed on brochure paper with a semi-gloss finish and it looks like a store bought bag.

This bag will be a little while before it's out in the store (not too long, be patient with me!)

New For Mother’s Day (& Everyday!) Gift Box, Bag, Tag ‘n Gift Tag Card

I've been working on this for a little while and finally have it ready to preview.  This kit should be to Stacey by the deadline for next week's printables release.

previewThe box will have instructions on how to do the beaded handle with button and bead embellishment.  It also has some dimensional elements with the Mother's Day tag and butterfly in 3D.

I've shown the hang tag Butterfly house heart tied to a candle, but it could just as easily be a package tag.  The little bag is using Gina Jane's lovely little free template (thanks Gina Jane!)

Everything will be available in both Mother's Day or blank for your message for all year 'round.

I'm working on a large gift bag that those of you that can print 11 x 17 paper will be able to make at that size and the rest that only print 8 1/2 x 11 will be able to print at that size.  It's really kewl… can't wait to show you, but have to finish the template first Laughing

Back to work!  Audrey Jeanne Roberts

Blue Hydrangeas II Collection by Audrey Jeanne Roberts. Digital Clip Art Kit Coming Friday!

Here's a slide show of the kit in detail.  The Alphabet will be an add on kit that will be out later.

Blue hydranges 2 preview

I have not been able to figure out how to post this as an active slide show on the blog itself.  If anyone reading knows how to do this on a WordPress blog, feel free to leave a message in the comments!

If you click on the image to the right, a window will pop up taking you to the slide show.

Thanks for looking.
