Every so often I find a piece of Vintage ephemera that captures my imagination – this wedding invitation set was created with such a piece.  Actually not even from a complete element, but a snippet from a corner of an antique French Market fruit label!  Mixed together with original watercolor backgrounds, branch twigs and silhouette birds made out of the same pattern, the end result has a modern design feel to it.  The invitations are available in my Vintage Weddings Zazzle invitation store AT THIS LINK

You can find this set AT THIS LINK.  Add your own names and table assignments to these cards and you have an elegant and simple DIY place card design.  Find a matching ribbon, punch a hole in the top and tie onto a branch, a small twig tree or for fun use an antique (or antique looking modern) curtain rod as shown.
