New Font Being Released, “Audrey Jeanne’s Cute Printing 1″

I haven’t released a font in quite a while.  Since I’ve been working on the school-themed kits lately, I’ve found a particular font of mine to be very handy and well-suited to this purpose so I’ve decided to release it.

Font previewThis font is "Audrey Jeanne’s Cute Printing 1" and is the font I’ve used in all of the school kit previews.

It contains all capitals, lower case letters, numbers and the basic punctuation symbols as shown.  It is a True Type Font TTF, which means you install it in windows and it is available for use in any program that runs fonts.

I have been creating more fonts this week (after a long break from doing so!)  Font creating is a long, tedious, exacting process that I really DON’T enjoy, but I do enjoy having them available to use when I’m done!!!

I received an email yesterday from my cousin Harvey Brockman letting me know that my Uncle Bill (his dad) passed away yesterday.  My uncle Bill was a hard working, family-loving man.  He had a auto body and paint shop in Vista, California when I was growing up and I spent many a wonderful summer day roaming around the countryside with my 7 cousins and my sister.  Vista today is a thriving metropolis but in the 1960’s and 70’s it was very much "out in the country."

I lost contact with my cousins and my aunt and uncle as I grew up and they had moved to Idaho and then ultimately settled in Missouri.  I last saw Uncle Bill at my grandmother’s funeral in 1990.

My Uncle died of cancer in a manner very similar to my Uncle Johnny earlier this year.  He came down with shingles six weeks ago and just wasn’t getting better.  Then they discovered that he had cancer and it spread very quickly  and he was gone.  My love and my prayers go to my Aunt Glenna and my cousins and their families as they are dealing with the loss of this much-loved man.

THE PROVERB OF THE DAY:  Prov 29:5-7  To flatter people is to lay a trap for their feet. Evil people are trapped by sin, but the righteous escape, shouting for joy. The godly know the rights of the poor; the wicked don’t care to know.
