The Rest of the Story….

Okay, I've gotten incredibly wonderful feedback on my garden and hummingbird photos and lots of comments about "How can I do all of the art, design work and gardening?"  So, to show you that I DON'T GET IT ALL DONE and for all of you that don't believe I really am a lazy gardener, I have a post planned for later in the week called "The Rest of the Story… The Rest of the Garden!"  Watch for great photos of my weeds, undone patches, and left side of path versus right side of path shots!

I believe in transparent honesty in all areas of my life, including my garden.  So stay tuned!!!!

  1. This should be interesting and perhaps help build my belief that I can have a garden – even just a small one. I’ll be watching.

  2. I have goose bumps looking at the picture of your side yard. The side of your house could pass for mine and so could the yard until about 10 years ago. Now I’ll have to get out the pictures of our place to share with you AJ. Mountain gardening is such a challenge and with the drought we have had to turn off most of our drippers. Sniff sniff. It looks like you have far more flat land than we do. That’s good because I had to learn how to build a ground feeder for the birds on a hill and I can’t tell you how many paths and steps I’ve put into that garden. Now I can only look at it from my dinningroom window since I can’t do the steps anymore. (the yard is physically demanding, I can’t imagine handling it if I had physical problems. We have mostly flat to gently sloping in the upper pad area so it’s quite nice. If we were wheel chair bound we could get around most of the yard with concrete sidewalks instead of gravel. I’d love to see your pics! AJ)

Your garden is beautiful AJ and I love looking at it.
